Greg is NESTA Certified and has been working as a personal trainer for 30+ years. Originally from St. Thomas, USVI, Greg is married and has 2 daughters. He has worked at Sportset for 20 years and has been body building competitively for 28 years. Some of the competitions he has won are:
- Virgin Islands Champion
- Mr. Puerto Rico Champion
- Long Island Champion
- New York State Champion
- Northern State Champion
- USA Champion.
Greg tailors his fitness programs to each individual client. He has experience in training teens through senior citizens. He also has expertise of in-strength training, nutrition, weight loss, and general overall fitness.
Greg is known for his great personality, he's upbeat and energetic, is fun to train with and LOVES to train people!

Bud Cosgrove - Fitness Coach Senior Wellness Certified Personal Trainer
Email Bud Bud Cosgrove is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, and is currently the Director of Sportset’s renowned Total Wellness/Senior Fitness program. Bud has been a key staff member here at Sportset since 1999. He has advanced credentials in balance and fall prevention training, and has created the Fall-Safe Program which is a comprehensive education and training program designed to prevent falls and/or mitigate the consequences of falls by older adults. Bud also specializes in post cardiac/orthopedic, and other post rehab programs, and has crafted pre-operative exercise programs for members preparing for joint replacement surgery Prior to joining the Sportset staff Bud enjoyed an extensive public service career in the recreation, parks and sports field, serving at the Deputy Commissioner of Recreation and Parks for 25 years; having responsibility for the management and operations of Nassau County’s active parks system, and its comprehensive array of programs and services; among which was his role in the establishment of the Long Island Marathon, and the 1984 International Games for the Physically Challenged Athletes of the world. Another career high light was his role in the planning , development and operations of the Mitchel Park Sports Complex, that has been an outstanding sports venue success since its opening day. Bud achieved a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Physical Education from SUNY Brockport NY, and a Master of Arts Degree in Physical Education and Recreation Administration from Columbia University. He is a full adjunct professor at LIU’s, CW Post campus in the Department of Health Care and Public Administration. He has also taught at Adelphi University, St. Joseph’s College and SUNY Farmingdale. Bud has lived in Rockville Centre since 1969. He and wife Suzie have raised their six children here, and have eight grandchildren all close by. Suzie is an active member of Sportset, and a number of his local grand children have taken part in Sportset’s excellent children’s programs. Bud is a Viet Nam era US Army Veteran, serving with the 269th Signal Company in Europe during the Berlin Wall Crisis and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Bud has been physically active as a former high school and college track athlete; he had been an elite softball player for 40 years, and has completed 6 full marathons to include New York City’s famous marathon twice. Bud sees his role here at Sportset as a “calling “an “avocation” and not a job. He is dedicated to helping others to make the necessary “Lifestyle Changes for a Lifetime of Wellness.” |
Jaimee Reis – Fitness Coach
Jaimee is a certified fitness coach. She also holds specialty certifications in The Tabata Protocol and the TRX Suspension Training System. In addition to Jaimee’s busy career as a coach she is a married mother of four children. Coach Jaimee is a pillar of the RVC sports community. She has resided in town for 38 years and played soccer for South Side High School. Jaimee was the Long Island Select Player, NY State Select Player and a member of the USA Region 1 team in 1985 and 1986. Jaimee graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1990 with a BA in Psychology as a 4 year Division 1 Scholarship soccer player. She brings 23 years of both high school and college coaching to Sportset and is committing to helping all of her clients reach their full potential. |
Helene Tommolino Helene has over 20 years of fitness experience in the industry. She started as a certified MADD DOG ATHLETIC INC. spinning instructor in various gyms in Nassau County. She completed the A.P.P.T.E Certified Personal Training exercise fitness specialist at Hofstra University. She actively trained clients for over 10 years at Sky Athletic Gym. Helene has expertise in nutrition, weight loss, strength training, circuit training and balance. The last 6 years she has been working in facilities for memory impairment. You can also find her teaching group fitness classes in senior center facilities. In the summer she is busy with aqua aerobics in the pool. |
